Part of our Connection series, this collection has been designed to deepen a women’s relationship with her body, to nourish the health of her reproductive organs and to support hormonal balance through her cycles. The plants used within this collection will work to enhance a stable mood, and reduce menstrual pain or fatigue, enabling women to actively take care in her well-being through a simple, accessible guide. The herbalist behind this collection spent years working through its conception and curation, with the idea to create a loftier, softer space for a woman to experience and nourish her body throughout its cycles and seasons.

Which brings us to the heroines of this plant story.

When it comes to female health, Lady's Mantle becomes a very likely advocate. This gentle, wonderfully-embracing plant, takes care to balance female hormones. She is traditionally known to support women during hormonal changes throughout her cycles, to support the health of the female reproductive organs, and the well-being of the ovaries, womb and vagina. Our second protagonist, coming from the Artemesia family, is Mugwort. In mythical fables, this plant belongs to a kin of plants guarded by the Greek goddess Artemisia, under the governance of the Moon. As a woman may find a tightly knitted connection with the moon through her cycle, this plant comes as a natural ally for this time of the month. Mugwort is commonly used to improve menstrual flow and to ease cramping pains as it stimulates blood flow in the pelvic area.

The other two main plants within this collection are graceful Rose and motherly Chamomile. As an feminine embodiment, Rose comes as a womanly beautifier in its scent and properties. Whereas Chamomile’s motherly properties will support women in caring for and loving themselves. Both plants are known as sensitive healers for a heightened connection to ones self.
